My Story
My name is Shelley Dunham, and I am a Director with Scentsy from Anderson, Indiana. I started my Scentsy journey in August of 2016 with no intention of you reading this blurb right now. My mom, who is my sponsor, convinced me that with the amount of product I was buying, I would be smarter to sign up and make a commission off of my own orders.
It was not in my plan to become what I considered to be a “true consultant.” At that time, I had recently quit two other direct sales companies back-to-back because I was putting in more money than I was making. I struggled to love the product with both companies, but I REALLY struggled with the business models as well. I can easily say I had given up on the idea of having an additional income from Direct Sales. Plus, I was convinced I was just way too busy to add something else to my schedule. We’ve all been there, right?
I absolutely love my job as an ICU Nurse, and I can’t ever see myself leaving it altogether, but I have been able to cut back on my scheduled and overtime hours at the hospital. Scentsy gives me something that I had been searching forever since I entered the world of nursing: a way to help others who want more. For a few years, I had been searching for an organization where I could devote my time and energy. Scentsy has allowed me to mentor men and women to achieve goals they thought they’d only fantasize about. I am truly living out my dreams!!
